Lyn Denton is a pastor at Sydney’s Hillsong church, who recently released a book entitled Changed Forever. Only in the last few years has Lyn acknowledged the trauma of sexual abuse that she experienced as a child. She has found freedom and release, and is passionate about encouraging others to face their past also.

I so related to Lyns story as so many of her experiences were much like mine I ended up marrying my abuser as he was the first in my lifewho had shown me love , or what I thought was love. Then I suffered many unhappy years with abrutal man who was so much older. I admire her courage in coming foward as I have not been able to and therefore still carry baggage.
I am thankful to God for Mrs. Lyn Denton

At the very moment of my full deliverance from my sexual abusers I came across this progam. It was revealed to me by God that the experiences of my today was a result of my past but when he pointed out the specific details of my past and showed me the results it brought my eye's was opened to see the truth that my actions was the effects of my past abuse, today I am free. I am thankful to see a woman of God making a stand.I to desire to share my story with the world I want women and men to be encouraged to know that there past doesn't have to be there future, they to can be set free.

Wow!having survived sexual abuse a young age myself, I'm so overjoyed that you have an avenue for this abuse to be talked about and shared. This brings healing to so many countless women many that your programed touched but you'll never hear about. Thank you, God Bless...

My girlfriend and I had the privilege to hear part of Lyn's testimony when she visited Harbourside Church, North Shore City, New Zealand. She was profoundly impacted by Lyn's story, being the victim of mental abuse from her father and able to relate to Lyn's circumstances. As a result she is strengthened in her resolve to move forward from the negative impact that her father has inflicted on her life and for this we are grateful. We thank Lyn for the courage she has shown in coming to understand and overcome the difficulties that have beset her as a result of the damage caused by her abuse and the love that she so generously shares as she counsels other victims in her ministry.
