Introducing myself 2007/04/27 19:10
My name is Annette Poke. I am a busy grandmother with 10+ grandchildren (his and mine) with more on the way and loving every minute and everyone of them

I live in a lovely place called Laidley in SE Queensland. We moved here from the Gold Coast 4 months ago and love it. We have 1 1/2 acres overlooking a valley and to quote a famous character we can "feel the serenity".

My life also includes an Administrations business which I conduct mainly online thus being referred to as a "VA" Virtual Assistant. It suits my lifestyle and gives me the flexibility to be the "busy Nan" I love to be as well.

I'd love everyone to have a look at my website and contact me when the need arises.

Regards
Annette

Hey Annette, great to see you made it over here! I was wondering who 'happyfeet' was. I didn't know you had so many grandkids! Our eldest keeps threatening us that our first one will be happening soon - she's just waiting for her husband to say 'yes' and I keep telling her don't rush it, we can wait

Hi Kathie

Many thanks for the greeting. Yes we have a few grandchildren now with more planned. It is lovely and certainly keeps me grounded as I love all of them equally. Poppy finds it exhausting as the boys want him to make things all the time. This weekend it's a "billy cart". Thank goodness for "Better Homes & Gardens" magazines with their patterns

Of course you can't pressure the children to have children (but it is nice to drop the occassional hint). I get into trouble as well, so you are now officially in the "Nan in Waiting" club.

Many cheers

Yes, I guess I could say that. I wouldn't say it too loud though, some might believe it
