I believe that I have the best marriage in the world. Every day I'm amazed at my wife and marvel at her beauty. As you can see...I also like bragging about her. We've been married for almost 20 years and I can certainly say that I love her more now then I did when we were first married. I think that our love has deepened and broadened as the turmoil and joy of years of being with each other has strengthened our relationship.

I remember in the first few weeks of being married I said to my wife, "You will always know what I think and I will always tell the truth". It took us both years to fully understand the implications of that statement but it has been great. If I'm upset with her then she'll be the first one that knows....she never has to wonder if I am. This gives a huge amount of security.

I never lie to my wife....about anything. Telling the truth in all circumstances has become the basis of our relationship and I know that it also brings security and a great foundation for future years.

Anyway....enough bragging....I just can't help it....even after 20 years I'm in love! LOL!

Well, I have to congradulate you on that whizzbang. 20 years,
I have to admire that, as a veteran of 2 marraiges that only
made about 5 years each, what can I say. It amazes me that
relationships can truly last if you are with the right per-
son, it's just the finding the right person bit I seem to
have trouble with. The communication bit though you mention-
ed is true, my last husband totally cut off and would not
communicate, so nothing could be discussed or fixed. That
telling the truth and communication is sooooo important, I
cannot stress it enough. Congradulations again.

I find that one of the best things that I did for our marriage was learn to drink coffee. Yes, you read that correctly...LOL! I never used to drink coffee. I never understood that it's nothing to do with the drink but everything to do with the conversation and the relaxed atmosphere that sharing a drink can bring. My wife and I regularly just sit down, have a tea or coffee and talk about our days. It's brilliant!
