Sounds good to me. I love being on my own at home to think, contemplate, write, read, as well as work. When Graham and I go away some weekends, he takes his bike to go cycling, and I have my books and laptop for reading and writing.

I love being around people but i must be careful to divide my time up so that I am spending it with a mixture of people who need me and those who actually input into my life. it is impossible to always be giving out cause in the end you get so deplited you are no fun to be around. i like being with people and actually achieving something...whether that is cooking sauce with my Italian friend or raising funds for our kids in Africa I like the "with" factor.
when I am alone I get refuelled by doing something I really want to do whether that is sorting out a drawer or reading a good book...if I have decided to spend alone time I get really frustrated with interuptions!

Most of my time is spent around other people, my daughter at home, work, church, uni, but any time that I do have to chill out, I ride my motorbike to my special place down the peninsula and watch the surfers from the top of the cliff car-park and just chill. I must admit that in many ways right now I prefer
my own company when I have a choice of what I want to do in the day that isn't work. (Truth)
It isn't that I don't trust people, it's the fact that right
now I need to trust God more than people, and rely on Him to bring the right people into my life at the right time, because
I don't want to make the same mistakes that I have made in the past where relationships are concerned. If anything, I don't trust me to get it right. (Trust)
The most important thing that I have learned recently can be
summed up in this verse:
"But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength,
they shall mount up with wings as eagles, they shall run
and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint."
Isaiah 40:31. (Learning)

I think my account has been on 'hold' for quite a while!?

It is a great analogy though - and I agree too many people end up in the 'overdraft' situation!

It is true too, that you really do need to learn from your mistakes, and I think that in some situations, having your account on hold for a bit of time is not a bad thing? As long as someday you are ready to open it back up again?
