Hmmm.....I was debating about wading into this debate as I'm a man....LOL! So whatever I say should be viewed as coming from a man.
I think that both women and men are in a state of flux in how they relate to one another and that the pendulum has swung to over compensate in some areas. For example, I went to give up my seat for a lady on a tram and was absolutely abused yelling that her legs were just as strong as mine etc. Hey, I was just trying to be courteous....not commenting on the strength of her legs. What this does is bring confusion to mere males like myself. Should I or shouldn't I? Personally....I just keep on giving up my seat.
I think that women shouldn't lose their feminity in an effort to be "successful". Likewise men shouldn't lose their masculinity in order to show love and affection. I believe that we are all 3 dimensional not just stereotypical TV cookie cutter copies of what the perfect male or female should be.
I only know one thing for sure....my wife is my best friend and an inspiration to me. She's gentle but firm, strong but sexy, driven but spontaneous and most of all....she loves me
