Miss Teenager 2007/05/23 06:54
Miss Teenager and I were doing Vocabulary/Spelling/Poetry
during schooling the other day and there was a poem in her
textbook, the title was "I Saw God Wash The World" by
Dr, W.L. Stidger, well Miss Teenager pipes up and says
"yep, and He's using Australia's water to do it", it was
so quick I just cracked up laughing, lol lol

Kids are so quick these days - mine come out with things and I wonder where it came from? Certainly not me - must have been their dad

So good to hear positive stories about teenagers and their quirky ways. You always hear so many horror stories!!! As a parent on a new teenager i am looking forward to 5 awesome years of my childs life. What an adventure it will be, and we will navigate it together! Am so excited about it!

Yep - parenting teenagers can be a challenge but I'm finding that it's a joy. The challenge for me has been the fact that I should expect insane discussion with a boy who wants to push the boundaries.

My wife and I have recently decided to invite our son to join us in having a cup of tea so that we can teach him the "art of conversation" which doesn't involve a variety of sounds coming out of the various parts of the body. It's been an experience but one that causes us to laugh a lot about!

I am finding teenagers a little easier than I thought! Except for the odd days when I am never right, and life is not fair... lol
