I recently had a conversation with someone who worked for an energy company about how consumer oriented we are. If we consume less then we take better care of our planet. If consume less then people will be out of a job. It's a conundrum. One affects the other. Firstly I want to ask what do you love about this planet? I love beaches and crystal blue water.

Now what small change could you make today that may take affect?I plan to not buy every fandangled gadget... do I really need that new kitchen appliance? I have changed to green energy and want to try and walk more so I have to use my car less.

Have you got any great ideas that could help look after this planet?

I love the majesty of the sunset and the waves that crash to
the shore on the ocean beaches. I love beautiful gardens
that are so peaceful. I love waterfalls and the starry night
sky. I love the wind in my face as I am riding my motorbike
along the ocean roads, and I love the thought that this is
just a dim reflection of what heaven must be like. I don't
worry about this world wearing out, we know it must, but I
look forward to the beauty of the one to come.

We switched to green energy as well, we're also considering getting a bank of solar panels. We collect water from as many places as possible for the garden.

But what do I love the most? Hmmm....I love staring at a sunset while sitting on a beach staring at the waves pushing their way endlessly towards the shore. I love listening to the seagulls fighting over a few thrown hot chips while my kids laugh for joy as they scare them back into the air. I love sitting with my wife enjoying the goodness of life and the greatness and wonder of the creation around us.

I find that it's awesome to simply slow down life and enjoy the journey.
